It has been all go for Whistling Buoy in recent months, with the winery’s involvement with Pinot Noir 2017 being one of the highlights. Whistling Buoy hosted a large party of international journalists, sommeliers and other influencers as part of their commitment to showing the visitors just how good Canterbury wines are.
Whistling Buoy competition successes have continued also, with great results in the recent WineNZ tastings. Two vintages of Kokolo Vineyard pinot noir – 2014 and 2015 – were both judged as four star by the professional trio of tasters, and were the two top Canterbury wines entered in the event.
