A great article on the three most recognised vineyards on Banks Peninsula and more importantly recognition of its unique place as an emerging wine growing region!

"Banks Peninsula hadn’t really been on my radar as a top New Zealand wine region until I came across the French Peak pinot grigio at the WineNZ autumn tasting.

The wine won praise from our three professional tasters, with Rod Easthope being particularly effervescent. He noted rose and jasmine and considered it delicate and perfectly balanced. He also described it as “a ballet dancer of a wine”."
