Winemakers Series Rosé 2019

The Winemakers series was inspired by the need to make our wine more accessible to a broader range of wine lovers and to expand our range. We have an exceptional winemaker so why not give him the freedom to make wines that define our fruit driven, crisp, clean, and delicious style, but by using grapes from other grape varietals sourced from exceptional vineyards that we work closely with.

Our first in the series is a Rosé made up of an almost equal mix of Waipara valley Pinot noir, Pinot Gris and Syrah. It has concentrated fruit flavours (strong peach, strawberry, watermelon and spice flavours, with a hint of apricot) and lifted acidity to make this a very refreshing wine. The subtle fruit sweetness adds a creaminess to the palate and a smooth mouth-feel. Not only is this an ideal summer wine, the richness of flavour make this perfect to enjoy all year round.
