Very pale candyfloss pink, near colourless on the rim. The nose is fresh, light and delicately expressed with tightly bound aromas of cranberries and strawberries with subtle, mouthwatering nuances of herbs and hints of flinty, nutty lees at the core. Dryish to taste and light-medium bodied, delicate flavours of cherry and cranberry fruit show with lifted red floral elements and piquant, fresh herbs. The palate features a tight, elegant line with fine dry phenolics and crisp, brisk, thirst-quenching acidity. The fine dry grip caries the wine to a zesty finish with strawberry and herb notes. This is a crisp, refreshing, dry rosé with delicate cherry and cranberry fruit, and a dry, textured line. Serve as an aperitif and match with tapas and antipasto over the next 2 years. Clone 375 and 10/5 fruit from the ‘Lloyd’ block, in the ‘Kokolo’ vineyard, fermented to 13.0% alc. and 7 g/L RS. 16.5+/20 Nov 2015 RRP $25.00 Raymond Chan Wine Reviews
This is attractive, tasty and delightfully elegant. Aromas of rockmelon, citrus and peach with subtle raspberry on the nose. The palate is refreshing and vibrant, and delivers excellent fruit purity, backed by juicy acidity. Very silky and rounded too. At its best: now to 2018. 91 points 4.5 stars Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, October 2015
